Sea Pirates

Sea Pirates are aged between 7 and 9 years and may then become a Junior Cadet. They attend Thursday Evenings from 7:10pm – 9:15pm
When you join the Sea Training Corps Sea Pirate Section there is a 6 week trial period which is free of charge. During this time you will have a tour of the Unit.
After the 6 week Probationary period you obtain your first Uniform which includes a cap, scarf with a woggle, and shoulder flashes; these will be green or red depending on whether you are placed in Starboard or Port Watch. The above items will be provided on payment for the Uniform and the annual subscription.
You Learn how to Left and Right Turn at the Halt, Know where Aft and Forward is, take part in the Unit Fire Drill, and learn how to dress in uniform properly.
After completing all of the above you then obtain your first rank and badge and become a Junior Pirate, which is the first rung on the ladder to becoming a Leading Pirate, you then become a Junior Cadet at the age of 9 years. You can stay in the Sea Pirates until you are 10 years if you wish.
